Owner & Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

Sacrifice and intellectual curiosity led the ancient Chinese over five millennia ago to understand Qi, the vital energy behind all life forms. This diligent research birthed the oldest codified system of medicine in the world — Traditional Chinese Medicine. This system greatly helped me overcome an illness and instilled within me a passionate career quest to understand and share it with others.

I started my study of Chinese Medicine at Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, where I thrived as one of the top students. My unquenchable thirst for knowledge led me to the esteemed Dongguk Royal University in Los Angeles, where I earned my Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. During my internship practicals, I was honored with the prestigious Outstanding Intern Award.

Always learning, I furthered my studies and achieved a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. The DACM is the highest clinical credential in the acupuncture profession — it represents not just academic rigor but a deep commitment to clinical excellence in this medicine.

I started practicing in 2017 and I thrive on helping people and guiding them to feel healthy once again. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone walk out of my office feeling better than when they walked in.

Why I Practice in the South Bay

I don't just work in Torrance — I live here. The South Bay is my home, and serving this community is personal to me. Whether my patients come from Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Lomita, or right here in Torrance, I treat each person the way I'd want to be treated: with time, attention, and genuine care.

When the Daily Breeze and Beach Reporter readers voted The Acupuncture Point as South Bay's Best Acupuncture 2025, it meant the world to me. That recognition came from the community — from real people who experienced what we do here. It's the kind of validation that no amount of advertising can replicate.

My Approach

I believe in giving every patient my full, undivided attention. That's why I work by appointment only, in fully private rooms, with no double-booking. When you're on my table, you have my complete focus. I use a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, auricular therapy, aromatherapy, and advanced aesthetic treatments — but the foundation of everything I do is listening to you and understanding what your body is telling us.

About 80% of my patients feel improvement after just one visit. But I'm always honest about what to expect: some conditions take time, and I'll tell you that upfront. I love a challenge, and I encourage my patients to come see me sooner rather than later. Acupuncture is a preventative medicine, and I recommend wellness check-ups every season — even when you're feeling good.
