Supporting Those Who Served

With over nine years of service as a community care provider for the VA, I am deeply committed to the well-being of our veterans. I've seen firsthand how acupuncture can change the lives of those who have served — and I want every veteran to know that this care is available to them.

Free Acupuncture Through the VA

Many veterans don't realize that acupuncture is available to them at no cost through their VA benefits. If you're a veteran enrolled in VA healthcare, you may be eligible for acupuncture treatments through the Community Care program. I'm an authorized TriWest provider, which means the VA can refer you directly to my practice here in South Torrance.

If you're not sure whether you qualify, call my office at (424) 262-7663. I'll help you understand your options and guide you through the referral process. You've earned this care — let me help you access it.

Conditions I Treat for Veterans

Veterans face unique health challenges, and I've tailored my approach to address the conditions I see most often in my veteran patients:

PTSD and Trauma — Acupuncture can help calm the nervous system, reduce hypervigilance, and support emotional processing. Many of my veteran patients report better sleep, less anxiety, and a greater sense of calm after treatment.

Chronic Pain — Whether it's back pain, knee pain, neck pain, or joint issues from years of service, acupuncture provides evidence-based pain relief without relying on medication.

Anxiety and Depression — By regulating neurotransmitters and promoting the release of endorphins, acupuncture helps restore emotional balance.

Sleep Disorders and Insomnia — Many veterans struggle with sleep. Acupuncture addresses the root causes of insomnia not just the symptoms.

Transition-Related Stress — The shift from military to civilian life brings its own challenges. Acupuncture provides a quiet space to decompress and recalibrate.

Why Veterans Choose TAP

I understand that walking into a new healthcare provider's office can feel uncomfortable, especially if you've had frustrating experiences in the system. At The Acupuncture Point, you'll find a calm, private, judgment-free environment. Every session takes place in a fully private room. There's no rush, no waiting room full of people — just a quiet space where you can focus on healing.

I treat my veteran patients the same way I treat every patient: with respect, genuine care, and my full attention. But I also understand the unique experiences that come with military service, and I bring that awareness to every treatment plan I create.
